What Is Temperature?

The property of matter which reflects the quantity of energy of motion of the component particles.

Examples of Temperature: Rise in level of heat !om Winter to Spring? Temperature change.

Exothermic Reactions

Generally associated with forms of light, heat or sound.

Their job is to produce heat and sometimes explode, as they are prone to random moments of spontaneous reaction.

They are measured in a negative heat flow.

ENDOTHERMIC REACTIONS

Their job is to absorb energy.

They can’t spontaneously react :/

They are measured in a positive heat flow.

Effects On Reactions

A change in temperature tends to favor endothermic reactions, because the endothermic reaction can absorb the energy given off from a higher temperature easily, unlike an exothermic reaction.

A shift in pressure has no favorites. It tends to side with whatever reaction forms fewer molecules from more molecules.

When it comes to surface area, the larger the scale, the bigger the possibilities. In an endothermic reaction, we absorb energy. So, if the scale is bigger, the more energy we can absorb. In an exothermic reaction, if the scale is larger, more energy is released.
