C.S. Lewis - Biography

1. Clive Staples Lewis was born in Belfast, Ireland on the 29thof November, 1898.In 1917, he volnteered to !oin the British "rm#, drin$ %orld %ar 1, and

atheist, bt later 'onverted to Christianit# at **. In earl# +ne, 191, Lewis startedto e&perien'e medi'al problems and was later dia$nosed with inflammation of the

-idne#s, whi'h reslted in blood poisonin$. owever, over the ne&t several #ears,

his health be$an to improve and was ba'- to normal b# earl# 19*. Bt on the22ndof November, Lewis 'ollapsed in his bedroom and died a few mintes later.
