Maintenance Man Report During December 2012, we completed the roofing, gutters and new skylights at the barn. We are working on installing paddocks at the stables. Necessary tree removal at the clubhouse was completed in January. In February a Kubota tractor was purchased, as instructed for replacement by the Browning Group, in order to allow upkeep of the association’s facilities. A retaining wall in the clubhouse storage room was completed; after much dirt removal. Then the plumbing has been replaced from the water main to the clubhouse. The island and dam area have been cleaned of debris, and dead trees removed in anticipation of upcoming season. Regular grounds keeping and repair of the drip systems continues to be done, along with removal of the Junipers in front of the clubhouse as they are an excessive fire hazard as pointed by Nancy Longmore of Cal Fire. Pool Survey Results In our January newsletter we had requested by survey-“Should the Board of Directors investigate the possibility of a community solar pool?” The results that have been received so far is 75 yes votes and 64 no votes. We are requesting that if anyone that did not previously submit a vote, and would like to, please complete the survey as soon as possible and submit to the office. Thank you. Mountain Lion Sightings We received a call during March, regarding a mountain lion sighting at a home in lower Crystal Falls. Upon investigation a verifiable paw print was also found. So please keep a sharp eye out, and it is recommended that pets and pet food be kept inside, in order not to attract these unwanted visitors. If you see a mountain lion please contact the Tuolumne County Office of the US Department of Agriculture’s Division of Wildlife Services at (209) 533-6681. Clean-up day for the Upper Lake is scheduled for Saturday April 27 th at 9:00am. Bring your rake, shovel and gloves and help out. Snacks will be served. If it rains on April 27 th Clean-up day will be rescheduled until May 4, 2013. Please come and join in with your neighbors on improving your community. Crystal Falls Ranch HOA April 2013 Newsletter

Crystal Falls/Sonora Meadows

Women’s Fire Auxiliary

Happy Spring to all.

We are always looking for new members. We have a friendly and active group and meet only 10 times a year, downstairs at the Crystal Falls Clubhouse. The meeting starts at 11:00a.m., and is held the 2nd Thursday of each month (except July and August which are dark months.) Everyone is invited to attend. The meeting is followed by a potluck lunch. I will say we have great cooks.

Again this year, we are sponsoring 2 breakfasts at Applebees. The first will be held on May 4th, from 8:00-10:00a.m. The second will be held on September 7th at the same time. The menu consists of pancakes (all you can eat), bacon, juice and coffee, and is delicious. Applebees does this to help non-profit organizations with their fund-raising endeavors.

On May 3rd and September 6th, tickets will be on sale at Walmart from 11:00 a.m.— 2:30p.m. Also tickets for the September breakfast will be on sale during your Annual Barbeque. The Homeowners in Crystal Falls have been supportive of our Fire Auxiliary and our volunteer firefighters. We appreciate your help with our fund-raising events.

If you would like to meet new people, come join us for a short meeting and a delicious lunch. If you have any questions, call me at 536-9998.
