DIRECTIONS
From Lancaster City centre follow Thurnham Street and the
A6 towards Lancaster Infi rmary. At the Pointer roundabout
take the 3rd exit onto Ashton Road/A588, continue along this
road for approximately 4.5 miles, going past The Stork pub on
your right. As you enter upper Thurnham, take the right hand
turn onto Moss Lane (just before Thurnham Hall). Continue for
approximately 2 miles, (ignoring the fi rst right hand turn signposted
Glasson Dock), then branch right onto Slack Lane. As you get
to the seafront, turn right. Crook Cottage can be found halfway
along this road.
