Joke for the day! The Haircut

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you , I'm

doing community service this week.' The florist was pleased and left the

shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a policeman comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill,

the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you , I'm doing

community service this week.' The policeman was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you'

card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door

Then an MP came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the

barber again replied, 'I can not accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The MP was very happy and left the shop..

The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen

MP’s lined up waiting for a free haircut.

FARM PLANNING

COURSE INFORMATION SESSIONS COMING UP AT

TENTERFIELD, WARIALDA & YETMAN

The Border Rivers-Gwydir CMA is holding free

The Farm Planning course creates a process

through which landholders develop a sustainable

natural resource management, productivity, and

the personal family goals.

The Farm Planning course helps participants to: Understand the relationship between

sustainability, profit, income and production

 Calculate indicators of farm financial

performance

Use Rainfall Use Efficiency to measure the

performance of the farm’s natural resource

base – linking profit to natural resource

management

Map soils, land capability and vegetation

across the farm

Write a strategic farm business plan.

Taking part in a Farm Planning course can also

provide you with a head start when applying for

funding for on ground works. The courses run

for a minimum of 6 days, spread across times and

dates as agreed by participants. There is no cost

for the course and all materials are provided

including a course manual, a satellite image of
