For 18 years, Brian Jackson has served as an Instructor for all the executive-level M.B.A. Programs at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College (ranked #1 in Florida by Financial Times, BusinessWeek, Leadership Excellence and Forbes). He also co-facilitates the College's highly regarded "Advanced Leadership Program", and was a faculty member of the New England-based "Global Institute for Leadership Development". Brian was a member of the Greater Orlando Organizational Network, and has served as a committee member and Diversity co-Chair for the Central Florida Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development . Some of the recent clients Brian has worked with include Alcoa, the United States Forest Service, Florida Atlantic University, United States Air Force, Walt Disney World Company, ScanSource, SunTrust, International Leadership Associates, Luxottica Group s.p.A., and the Coca-Cola Corporation. Educated at the University of Capetown, South Africa, Brian Jackson acquired industrial and commercial experience prior to his affiliation with the Outward Bound organization in Rhodesia. In this capacity, he designed and facilitated wilderness-based programs for personal and leadership development in the early 1970's, operating throughout the Chimanimani Mountains of Mozambique. Brian has also worked with Outward Bound in England and North America, and is an inductee of their international “Roll of Honour”. In 1976, Brian was appointed to the staff of Brathay Hall, a pioneering British training and development organization, whose lengthy client base includes IBM, General Electric, the Manchester Business School, and Rolls-Royce. As a Course Director at Brathay Hall, he designed and facilitated extended executive development programs – many utilizing an outdoor environment. For participants, the exhilarating and memorable mountain settings of Cumbria’s Lake District National Park served to highlight the principles of – and critical skills for – effective personal and organizational leadership, and high performance teamwork. Brian Jackson is certified as both a DISC Facilitator and a “Crucial Conversations” Trainer, and serves as a partner with Ohio-based International Leadership Associates. With many years of international experience, his expertise has been sought by other nationally-recognized Providers of experientially-based development programs to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the services that they – in turn – offer to their own clients.
