Hands-on experience begins in your first year where you apply comprehensive theoretical knowledge in a Crime Scene House teaching lab. IndIGenous dIploma proGramsStudents in the Foundations of Indigenous Learning and the Indigenous Environmental Studies diplomas bring with them to Trent their diverse cultures, values, histories and languages. The Indigenous Diploma Program works in harmony with the individual strengths each student brings to the larger group. The program provides the opportunity for students of Indigenous heritage to make the transition into university level studies in a supportive environment. Students who complete the diploma program may choose to continue on and pursue a Bachelor’s degree, towards which they may transfer their diploma credits.

TrenT-esl: enGlIsh for unIversITyTrent-ESL offers intensive English language preparation for university success. In small classes, you will build your language, research, and academic skills and become engaged in campus life. Conditional admission means that you will have a guaranteed position in your degree program once you complete Trent-ESL. While studying in Trent-ESL, you are a full member of the university community, with options to live in residence, participate in extra-curricular activities, and become familiar with campus life.
