1. CC licensing doesn’t have much in common with the sharing economy.
2. Using CC licensing requires a bit of a leap of faith.
3. Because using CC licensing requires a leap of faith, there needs to be a deeper motivation behind the decision than purely the quest to maximize profit.
4. An engaged community is always an important part of successful business models built around CC licensing.
5. CC licensing helps build community and inspire the larger social mission around sharing.
