The two-day 46th NationalManagement Convention ofAll India Management

Association focussed on creatingan innovative India.

Babul Supriyo, Minister of Statefor Environment, Forest andClimate Change, Government ofIndia, in his keynote address atthe convention said, "The $5trillion economy may seem likean ambitious goal, but we have ahumble government to keepinspiring us."

Amitabh Kant, CEO, Niti Aayog,said, "If you look at the last fiveyears of India's economicevolution, India has grown at 7.5per cent. Both Reserve Bank ofIndia and the Government ofIndia have acted on some of theissues of innovation to take Indiato a high trajectory growth."

Earlier on the first day of theconvention, Amit Shah, Ministerof Home Affairs, Government ofIndia, in the inaugural addresshad said, "One of thefundamental principles of themanagement is to align people'sefforts to achieve a commongoal. And this is the way forwardfor the creation of 'New India'."

Talking about tacklingpollution, Nitin Gadkari, Ministerof Road Transport & Highways;Micro, Small & MediumEnterprises, Government of

India, emphasised the need tohave more public transport.

"India must become a centrefor production of softwareproducts, not just softwareservices," said Ravi ShankarPrasad, Minister of Law andJustice; Communications;Electronics and IT, Governmentof India, on the first day of theconvention.
