CreatingaPersonalAccountCreating your personal account for the Digital DNREC ePermitting system can be completed in 3 quick and easy steps. Once you have established your account credentials and are able to access the system you will be able to purchase DNREC Fish and Wildlife licenses, permits, and other online applications for you and your dependents under 18 years old.

StartFrom the Digital DNREC homepage, select “Personal” and the REGISTER NOW link to begin the account

creation process.

Step1First, enter your basic contact information and define the credentials for your online account.

Area Item Description/HowTo1 Login Link This link is offered to assist the user in navigating back to Dashboard to login using existing credentials

2 Help/Info Link This icon is present throughout the Digital DNREC environment to offer guidance and helpful information to the user

3 First Name User enters their full, legal first name

4 Last Name User enters their legal last name

5 Email User enters their primary email address which will be used as their credential for login

If the email entered exists in the system, the user will be notified with an error message 6 Confirm Email User enters the email address again to ensure no typo or accidental error was entered

7 Phone Number Primary phone number for the user

Exactly 9 numerical characters are to be entered 8 Password Password must be a minimum of 8 characters and contain at least one number and one special character

9 Confirm Password User re-enters their password to ensure accuracy

10 Next button This button will submit all data for validation

In any issues are found, error messages will display, and the user will not advance to the next step 11 Middle Initial (Optional field) One character only

12 Suffix (Optional field) Dropdown with selectable suffixes such as Jr. Sr. I, II, III, IV, V, VI

Area Item Description/HowTo1 Date of Birth User enters their date of birth as MM/DD/YYYY

2 Social Security Number

User enters their Social Security Number as 9 numerical characters. A Social Security Number is optional to create an account. However, a Social Security Number is required to purchase some of the permits and licenses on Digital DNREC. Click HERE for more information

3 Address 1 User enters their street address

4 Address 2 (Optional field) User enters secondary address elements such as apartment number.

5 City User enters the city of their home address.

6 State User selects one of the 50 states from a dropdown.

7 ZIP Code User enters a five-digit ZIP code.

8 Country If a country other than the United States is selected, the State dropdown is no longer required.

9 Submit This button will submit all data for validation. If any issues are found, error messages will display, and the user will not advance to the next step.

10 Back This button expands Step 1 section for editing. Step 1 must be submitted to activate Step 2 again.

Step3Almost finished! You must verify the email address used by navigating to your inbox and clicking a link to

affirm that email is in fact your active email account.

Please allow up to 15 minutes to receive the validation email and check your spam/junk folders

2 Link to Home “HERE” leads the user back to the login screen to login after validating their email address
