Crafts for Spring:Tie-Dye Butterflies and Flowers Activity

Before dumping your egg dye, reuse it to create some spring-inspired art!

Here are some ways to use the leftovers with materials you can find at home.

What you will need:• Coffee filters• Egg dye tablets• Paper clips• Twist ties• Paper towel

1.Fold the coffee filter until you get one long strip.

3.Sandwich the strip in the paper towel to squeeze out the excess water.

2.Dip the ends and the middle into the dye.

4.Repeat the first steps with another dye color.

5.Use a hair dryer to dry the coffee filter.

7.Pinch the middle and attach a paperclip.

6.Fold the coffee filter like an accordian.

8.Carefully fan out the sides to create wings.

9.To make a flower, gather it at the middle, wrap it with a twist tie, and fan out the pedals.

10.Mix-and-match flowers and butterflies to create your own spring scene.
