Pre Construction Services During the Pre-Construction phase, we will

work to meet the owner’s functional, aesthetic,

budgetary and scheduling needs by providing

and reviewing a variety of design documents and

calculating the cost. Our team is well trained in

many techniques such as conceptual estimating

and value engineering.

General ContractingGeneral Contracting allows us to work together

as a team with the owner, architect and engineer

to deliver the project on time and under budget.

We achieve this by providing accurate cost

estimates and value engineering during the

design phase. Finally, we provide qualifi ed on-

site construction supervision.

Construction ManagementConstruction Management allows us to monitor

the quality of construction as well as the

materials, equipment and labor used throughout

the project. Besides quality control, we can also

effectively manage cost, time, safety and contract

administration. We are equipped to handle all

aspects of the design and construction phases.

Design BuildAs your Design-Builder, we are capable of

completing the design and construction of your

project. With our strong relationships with the

local architects and engineers, we can reduce the

delivery schedule of the project by coordinating

the design and construction phases of the project

owner in that you only have to hire one entity to

complete your whole project.

Value EngineeringWe understand that every client wants to

minimize costs while maintaining the integrity

of the building. We approach Value Engineering

from the inception of the project to deliver the

Conceptual EstimatingCP Build + Design’s expert team of estimators,

have developed and refi ned its estimating

system to ensure the accurate budget early

in the process and control costs throughout

the project. Our estimating team works to

upon its extensive database of vendors and

subcontractors to build the most accurate

estimates possible.

The management of CP Build + Design has

constructed a wide variety of postal projects ranging

from complete design build ground up facilities to

complex renovation projects.

Of the three (3) multi-million dollar state-of-the-art facilities, one

is complete with retail components and another is the latest

annex prototype. These projects include the most state-of-the-art

surveillance equipment as well as the standard postal functions

such as offi ce and administrative support areas, parcel and postal

lockers, postal inspection service, rental boxes and full service

customer facilities.



At CP Build + Design, safety is our number

one priority. With qualifi ed OSHA trained safety

professionals on our management team, we pride

ourselves on our safety program. New employee

training insures that all of our team members

are equipped with the proper knowledge and

resources to effectively protect themselves and

others in and around the job site.

The key elements of our safety program are:

• OSHA 510 Certifi cations for all personnel

with mandatory yearly certifi cation updates

• 29 CFR training for all key personnel with

mandatory yearly certifi cation updates

• CPR and First Aid certifi cations for all team

members with yearly certifi cation updates

• First Aid Stations and Safety Kits marked

at all construction sites

• Procedures for review and improvement of

subcontractor safety guidelines

Because of our extensive Safety Program, we are proud to state that we have a zero incident and lost hours percentage and a corporate rating of 0.83.

Here at CP Build + Design, we believe that green

buildings are benefi cial to the client, the occupants

as well as the environment. That is why we always

recommend green building practices to our clients.

We do our party by recycling and reusing construction

and demolition debris, limiting the use of hazardous

materials on the jobsite, protecting existing vegetation

as well as donating cleared trees or mulch for use on

site, and fi nally we try to always make environmentally

friendly purchasing decisions. We also strive to be an

all around Green Company by using all recycled offi ce

products. We have implemented an offi ce recycling

program which is part of new employee training. Each

Project Manager is required to attend a LEED technical

session; and our on-line plan room allows us to cut

back on the amount of paper used by allowing sub-

contractors to print plans as they are needed.
