Today I am going to take the opportunity to

formally acknowledge Mrs Eileen Day and

As mentioned in a previous newsletter, Mrs

Day will be moving on from our school to

take the Principal position at Dubbo West

Day has been the IM teacher and Stage 3

Assistant Principal at our school and has

always demonstrated the ability to bring

out the best in all children no matter who

and the entire staff wish her the very best in

her upcoming role.

This week the school has seen a great deal

of work undertaken both within the

classrooms and in the school grounds. Firstly

we have had painters working in several

rooms as well as the replacement of ceiling

sheeting. To add to this the lift that is being

constructed is coming together and during

the week several major steps in the

construction process were completed.

In addition to this progress in building the

school has been very productive with the

children moving well in all classrooms. The

school is very proud of the consistent
