Distributing Computers to Students
Use a zangle checklist roster to assign computers. Note the date and cow. Have the students indicate the number used that day:
Charging the COW Throughout the Day
The COWs are setup so that both rows charge at the same time. However, the timer light will say only the bottom is charging (right light). However, as the masking tape indicates, all shelves are actually charging.
Monitoring Students
Have students turn so you can see the screens
Use Apple Remote Desktop (ARD)
Collecting Computers from Students
A few students at a time (8 or so)
Check the screens (can be done by teacher walking around the room during shutdown)
Check the keyboards (no missing keys)
If You Find A Problem
Email the tech liaison immediately and indicate: Computer letter and number Student (if known) who was using the computer
when the problem happened.
