Term 4 Sport – Swimming (next two weeks) This term we will be having two weeks of intensive swimming lessons to be held from Monday 8 to 19 November from 12-12:45 pm each day. This year due to a lack of excursions, swimming lessons, and the bus, will be FREE of charge. Please have your child ready for swimming with swimmers, rash vest/t-shirt, towel, goggles and thongs EVERYDAY for the next two weeks. Remembrance Day Our students will be taking part in a virtual excursion to the Australian War Memorial. Our students will find out about the history of Armistice Day, and some of the special events that have taken place at the Australian War Memorial on Remembrance Day since the building opened in 1941. Explore symbols of remembrance, and the stories of men and women who have served for Australia.

On Thursday 11 November we will hold our own commemorative service and hope to be able to live stream it through our Facebook site from 10:45 am.

Kindergarten Orientation Our Kindergarten Orientation Program has recommenced until 1 December. If you know of any Yoogali locals that are considering our school, please pass this information on. we are only to happy to give families a tour of our sensational school and show them all the wonderful things our small school has to offer.

Families interested in taking a tour are required to call to make an appointment on 6962 4540.

Tell Them From Me Survey The survey is anonymous and will be used to identify trends within schools and better inform school priorities for our school planning.

The survey is available in multiple languages and is conducted entirely online on computers, tablets, ipads or smartphones during the specific survey window. Our school can make school computers available for parents/carers to use. The survey takes around 15 minutes to complete. Parents with more than one child at the school may choose to complete the survey more than once, if they feel that their children’s experiences differ.

Our Tell Them From Me Parent survey is now open. Please enter this web address to open the survey which will take 10-15 minutes to complete.

http://nsw.tellthemfromme.com/kdn28

All parents who complete the survey will go into a draw to win a Wish Card from Woolworths. Parents are asked to message Mrs McWhirter on the Yoogali P&C Business Messenger group or email [email protected] so a raffle ticket can be sent home.
