We both come from business families. My father was in a family Business of transport and Sheena’s father is a builder. I went to

USA for my undergraduate studies and did B.S. in Computer Engineering from University of Washington while Sheena completed

her B.Sc. from Chandigarh. I was working in a semiconductor company in Bay Area when we got married. We both are very

ambitious. I was extremely focused and busy in my job and when we joined Amway, I also got two patents. Sheena was working

for IBM.

Comparatively, we were well settled but we knew we could achieve more. We tried few businesses but failed due to lack of

experience. In our search, we were introduced to the Amway business. When we saw the plan at a meeting, excited, we joined

immediately. But on the second day, a close friend of ours while visiting gave us lots of incorrect information about Amway.

After listening to him I decided to quit.

Our sponsors were persistent; they built a good friendship and invited us to meet Diamonds. We got fired-up about their

lifestyles and choices in life. There we decided to build this business and to become Amway Diamonds.

We moved back to India due to family requirements and decided to pursue Amway business with whole heart and soul.

After our first ALS at Goa, our commitment multiplied. We worked very hard and broke

many new platinums. In the momentum, we went Emerald in 2000. But after that our

business growth slowed. We thought we were building the business but in reality we

were just managing. We set a goal of going Diamond in 2002 and 2005 but missed it.

God wanted us to change and grow.

When Amway announced 50th year celebration at Las Vegas in 2009, we promised our

upline mentor we would be there, whatever it takes. We decided to walk by

faith and not by sight. We decided to start qualification in March

2008 but we missed. We were very disheartened

but had a chance if we started qualification

in September 2008. We worked very hard. To

expand my bussiness, I use to stay out of my home for 25 days in a month. We

missed again but now there is no stopping. We were going to get Diamond done – it was

written. We started qualification in December 2008 and finished in May 2009.

We saw the power of prayer, power of dream and power of strong work ethic, which worked

in our life during this period. We believe that God will make everything happen if your

desire is strong enough. Our Diamondship came because of the prayers and

blessings of our parents, the love and pull of our team and incredible

support and understanding of our children Roshel and

Ryandeep. Our team was our biggest motivation. I

could see in my leaders’ eyes that they wanted us to

be Diamonds.

Never ever give up!!!

I was introduced to Amway business by one of my friends in April 1999. When I saw the Amway sales and marketing plan, I was

working as a government school teacher and Jayanthi was a homemaker. Her whole hearted support and constant motivation

helped me to achieve my Diamondship. We are blessed with two children, S.Mayilanandhan and S.Logapiriyan.

We joined Amway only because of a commitment to my friend. To start with, we faced lot of challenges. We belong to a small

town called Namakkal. We had to travel a very long distance nearly 400 km to buy the products and 60 kms to attend any Amway

event. Even though we didn’t know the proper method of doing the business, we tried several methods to succeed. After

completing my Platinum level in 2000, I quit my job. Lots of struggles, persistence and hard work brought us Emerald level in

May 2003.

We qualified Founders Emerald level in August 2008 and at the same time we broke a new Diamond leg. On

March 2009, we qualified as a brand new Diamond. We are all set to break many more new

Emerald & Diamonds in our group. We believe that Amway is the best opportunity to

achieve financial, personal and social growth as here you grow by bringing improvement

in others life. Our goal in life is to create hundreds of Diamonds by touching millions of

lives.

In our journey to success right from the beginning, we used to focus more on relationship

building and having people in our business. We gradually understood that this business gives

us not only financial security but also family and spiritual values. Our positive attitude and

strong determination has made a great change in our life, thanks to Amway. The positive

association of likeminded people in this business helped us to increase our self image.

I was born and brought up in Begusarai District (Bihar) in a middle class family. My father was a Professor, so I inherited

the true values of tolerance and patience from my parents. I did my graduation and post graduation from Bhagalpur

University. In 1986 I met Priyamwad and got married in 1990. I was very happy and life was a choice for me. My husband

was an Engineer and later became Government Executive.

As a MBA and Engineer, we could not understand Amway business initially. We were busy in our lives and never thought that Amway business can be as rewarding as this. But Amway business has proved to be a blessing in disguise for us. We could not have asked for more. Display and Sale of health, beauty and sport nutrition product are permitted in health and beauty establishment under the following conditions:

4.3.1.1 The primary focus of the business is service and retail sale of product is incidental to the service provided (e.g. Beauty salons, health clubs, Doctor’s clinic).

4.3.1.2 Only Amway products directly related to the service provided by an establishment will be allowed. For example, a Beauty establishment could display, use and sell only Attitude and Artistry range of products and related personal care products like shampoo and conditioner. A Health establishment i.e. a Gym could only display, use and sell Nutrilite range of products.”

4.3.1.3 An ABO is the majority owner and operator of the establishment or the ABO is the Manager/controller of the establishment and has an authorization in writing from the majority owner/ operator of the establishment for sale and display of Amway products.

4.3.1.4 Display of the Amway products and/ or brochures is restricted to inside of the service establishment and should not be visible on the outer display visible to general public.
