The athletic internship position caught my attention from my roommate/teammate, Monique Stevens, and I am confident that my qualifications and education fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the internship for the 2014-2015 school year. My abilities to work effectively in a team environment and work under pressure could benefit your marketing efforts in athletics at Northwest Missouri State University.
Understanding how crucial education is I am currently working on my double major in Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing and Business Management. Throughout my schoolwork and basketball career, I have developed a competitive, strong, sports-minded edge and could potentially help develop new marketing ideas for Northwest Athletics. Throughout my experiences of being on a team in the classroom and on the court I have obtained leadership qualities such as communication, courage, and focus. With this, being a very team-oriented person and doing several team projects in my business courses, I have managed to gain effective skills and have learned to work through adversity in a team environment. Not only have I expanded my abilities in efforts to work within a team setting, but I have succeeded in my own personal time-management and have been able to prioritize my responsibilities efficiently.
