EASTPOINT INTERNSHIP APPLICATION PACKET 2018-2019This packet is for those who feel God may be calling them to full-time church ministry. We have designed the Eastpoint Internship Program to help Interns discover whether or not God is calling them into ministry. This program is structured to develop character, ministry understanding, and ministry skills within our Interns. Upon the completion of the ten-month Internship Program, Interns will be deployed to the next steps in their ministry journey. Interns will go through an Internship Application Process to ensure that they are in a healthy place in their life to serve on a staff led ministry team.

STRUCTURE OF THE PROGRAM:

The Internship Program is built around four major components:

• Huddle: You will be a part of a group of Interns who journey together through the Internship experience. Not only will you develop deep friendships, but you will push one another to be who God has created each of you to be.

• Coaching: Throughout the program, you will be mentored by your Ministry Leader. This person will journey with you as you discover your calling, develop as a leader, and will walk with you as you are deployed to whatever God has next for you.

• Knowledge: You will grow in your ministry understanding through leadership training, reading, assessments, and possibly attending a conference related to your ministry. The focus will be two-fold: general ministry and the specific ministry in which you serve.

• Experience: You will gain experience in general ministry and also your specific ministry area. You will be empowered as you oversee various ministry elements, such as leading a group, planning and executing an event, teaching a class, working with volunteer leaders, etc.
