Pattern Analysis and censuses with the attributes of crime patterns and survey data. My Driving force and Reason for Timeline

The morning of June 17th, 2010 my son Miles was born. At the very instant I held him for the first time, it was final, I was going to finish up my associates and get my bachelors. This thought wasn’t just because I needed a real job, but it was because I wanted to give Miles what I lacked as a child. I would show him the importance of an education. To do this, I was not just going to tell him what was best, but I would lead by example and be the best role model that I could be. Miles has and will forever be my driving force. He is the reason for everything that I do.

The past three years have been consistently lengthy and exigent, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. The events in my life outside of school are the reasons why my bachelor degree has taken an elongated period of time. Since 2012, I finished my associate degree and now just months away from a bachelor degree.

The relationship with my son’s father failed and I couldn’t bare the idea of Miles being raised in day care, as I had been. Fortunately, I have a decent job at Starbucks and work the minimum I need for his health insurance and our income necessities, about 25 hrs a week. I only work three days a week (the days miles is at his fathers) and stay home with him during the week. I only take courses online (which I only do after he goes to sleep) or in the classroom between 9am-12pm while he is in preschool. Because of being a single mommy and work, I was only able to manage 2-3 classes a semester with the addition of one hair pulling full time semester last fall. I never knew that I could have the strength to be a single mother, work, and obtain a bachelors all at the same time. Even though I felt melancholy unable to finish my degree in a shorter and more normal time period, I am now so proud that I have accomplished this at all. If I could redo one thing in life it would be to finish school 10 years ago, when life was a little simpler. Yet, life happens and I just happened to do it a bit backwards.
