Course Description: Become an ELITE Dental Implantologist TodayThe ELITE Implant Program is a unique international certificate program led by world-class faculty and overseen by Dr. Arun K. Garg. As a program customized for Indian clinicians, the program features a clinical and didactic-based approach with faculty overseeing the clinical activity designed to give participants superior confidence that will enable them to master implant related surgeries after course completion.

Course Overview: Online, lecture and Live PatientThis comprehensive program includes didactic and clinical components. The didactic component requires every participant to complete online sessions with over 200 hours of lectures. In addition, every participant also has to complete 4 clinical offline lectures and at least 5 clinical assignments prior to certification. The live patient component will have international faculty overseeing live patient surgeries performed by program participants. The first three clinical lectures will be held in Bangalore and the final lecture will be held in the US as part of the Global Dental XP Symposium where all participants present their clinical work prior to receiving a certificate of completion.

Back for Round II: ELITE’S Return to India and Southeast AsiaThe ELITE program launched in its earlier form in India 14 years ago and ran from January 2002 to December 2002. At the time the program was focused on a trainers-type event and the majority of the participants went on to become the trainers for dental implantology throughout India and Southeast Asia. Since our mission was accomplished we moved on to other countries.

Now, after a 14-year hiatus, we felt the need to return to India. The ELITE program is back and better than ever because so much has changed since 2002. About Dr. Garg

Arun K. Garg, DMD, is a nationally recognized dental educator and surgeon who for over 20 years, served as a full-time Professor of Surgery in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and as Director of Residency Training at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. Frequently awarded faculty member of the year by his residents, Dr. Garg is considered the world’s preeminent authority on bone biology, bone harvesting and bone grafting for dental implant surgery and has written and published more than a dozen books and a dental implant marketing kit which have been translated in multiple languages and distributed worldwide. He has been a featured speaker at dozens of state, national and international dental association conventions and meetings including the American Academy of Periodontology, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Garg is the recipient of numerous awards including outstanding educator by the ICOI and an award for best article published by the Implant Dentistry Journal. Dr. Garg earned his engineering and dental degrees from the University of Florida and completed his residency training at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital.
