Taking on winners for the first time in her next start at Churchill Downs, COSMIC BURST made it two in a row, beating eventual G2W PRINCESS WARRIOR, SW GO GOOGLE YOURSELF, SW MISSAP, and SW OBSOLETE. She closed out her juvenile season as a Stakes winner at Remington Park in the Trapeze Stakes. She dominated this field of 2yo fillies with a 5 1/4 length win (Replay) besting a deep field consisting of 6 eventual Stakes/Graded Stakes horses.
Having won three of her four starts at two, she emerged on the Oaks trail with a 1 ¾ length victory in the G3 Honeybee (Replay), beating G2W RED RUBY, G3W SASSY SIENNA, as well as SW/MG1P AMY'S CHALLENGE.

Cosmic Burst beats a strong field in the G3 Honeybee at Oaklawn.
She ended her 3-year-old year with another stakes victory, scoring by 1 ¼ lengths in the Zia Park Oaks (Replay), while beating this year’s G1 La Troienne winner, SHE'S A JULIE, in the process.
As a 4yo, she continued to compete at the Stakes/Graded Stakes level when running 3rd to likely champion older mare, 5xG1W MIDNIGHT BISOU, in the G3 Molly Pitcher at Monmouth Park. PEDIGREE
COSMIC BURST is by the G1 winning son of MEDAGLIA D'ORO, VIOLENCE and is from a strong European pedigree. Despite her family being more turf oriented, she has done all over her damage on the dirt. Though Violence himself does not have offspring old enough yet to have any runners as a broodmare sire, his sire Medaglia d’Oro is starting to show himself as a prominent damsire. His daughters have produced three G1Ws to date, including RACHEL'S VALENTINA, ROCK FALL and COMPETITIONOFIDEAS, as well as several other talented runners.
