The Liturgy of the Day

As we gather on this final

Sunday of the Easter

season, celebrating what

has been called the

“birthday of the church,” let

us take the time to listen to

the urgings of the Spirit,

and to pray in gratitude for

all that God has done and

will yet do through this

Church, God’s holy people.

The next Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat will be in

the Charleston area, June 12-14. The retreat is

very helpful in sorting out feelings and thoughts

about an abortion experience so that healing can

occur. For more information, call Christy at

(803) 554-6088 or Kathy at (803) 546-6010. Or,

you can email [email protected]. The

retreat is confidential and non-judgmental.

Let Me Do Good Now I shall pass through this world but once. Any

good that I can do, or any kindness that I can show

to any human being, let me. Let me not defer or

neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.
