Corporate Online | Wire Transfers 1 The Wire Transfer service provides secure wire transfer capabilities, enabling you to: Create a variety of wire templates that simplify the data entry process. Wire Terms and Features Wire Applications

Wire transfers may be sent domestically or internationally from a one-time set of payment instructions entered manually or from a template that can be reused as needed. These types of wire transfers are referred to as “Applications” and include the following:

Approval

Approval is a step in the wire transfer process that mitigates risk of error or fraud before funds are sent. At least one approval is required to release all wire transfers. You have the option to require up to three approvals if you so choose. Dynamic (i.e., tiered) approvals are also offered.

Batches

Groups of individual transactions with the same assigned Wire Application and Value Date.

Queue

Once a wire has been entered, you can queue (or move) it to the Transaction List, where an authorized approver(s) can review, approve and release it for processing.

Templates

A feature used to store payment data, or wire instructions, for wire transfers you send on a repetitive basis.

Token Authentication

First Republic requires token authentication for all wire transfers at the time of release. You’ll be prompted for a unique security code when a wire is released for processing from the Transaction List.

Value Date

The date a wire is scheduled to be sent. This date must be a valid banking business day, not a holiday or weekend.

Wires Dashboard View recent and upcoming wires, approve and release pending wires, and run reports from the Wires Dashboard.

1. View recent and upcoming wire transfers within the Transaction List. 2. Click Filter List Results to search by entering criteria to narrow your view of wires on the list. 3. The Status column displays the following values:

Entered — Wire has been entered into the Corporate Online system. Approved — Wire has been approved. Released — Wire has been released for payment with a security token. Acknowledged — Wire has been received by First Republic. Processed — Wire has been processed and sent by First Republic (Fed Ref number now available).

4. Select the checkbox next to the wire transfers for which you’d like to take the following actions: a. Approve pending wire transfers.

Note: If your company requires multiple approvals before wire transfers are released for payment, you’ll see additional buttons for second and third approvals.

b. Release pending wire transfers for payment by entering your security token. **Note: The cutoff time to release wire transfers is 1:30 p.m. PT.**

c. Revise payment instructions for pending wire transfers (see page 24 for next steps for wire revisions).

d. Delete pending wire transfers. 5. Run the following reports for the wire transfers selected in Step Three: Detail Report, Totals Report,

Summary Report, or export a CSV file of the Detail Export and Summary Export. 6. Click anywhere on the wire to review single wire details or approve wires within a batch separately. 7. View Online Wire Transfer History to review past wire transfers initiated online.

Note: Wires with a stale-dated value date will be voided and moved to Wire Transfer History after five days of inaction. If action is taken within five days, the Value Date will update to the current date.

Add Single Wires Initiate a single wire transfer from a one-time set of payment instructions entered manually (i.e., one-time) or from a postdated existing template.

1. Select Wire Transfers from the navigation bar on the left. 2. Select Add Single Wire from the top menu bar. 3. Select One-Time Domestic to create a single-use domestic wire payment; refer to pages 6–7 for next steps.

Note: Non-repetitive wire instructions will not be saved for reuse. To enter domestic wire instructions that may be reused for future payments, see pages 12–13.

4. Select One-Time International to create a single-use international wire payment; refer to pages 8–-9 for next steps. Note: Non-repetitive wire instructions will not be saved for reuse. To enter international wire instructions that may be reused for future payments, see pages 14–16.

5. Select Domestic Template to create a domestic wire from an existing template; refer to page 10 for next steps. Note: See pages 12–13 for instructions to create a domestic wire template.

6. Select International Template to create an international wire from an existing template; refer to page 9 for next steps. Note: See pages 14–16 for instructions to create an international wire template.

Add Single Wires – One-Time Domestic (Non-Repetitive Fed) 1. Amount — Total value of funds you wish to send. 2. Value Date — Date the wire is scheduled to be sent.

Note: This date must be a valid banking business day, not a holiday or weekend. 3. Debit Account —Wire’s funding account. 4. Recipient Bank ABA —ABA routing number of the recipient bank of the individual or organization for

whom the wire is intended. A valid ABA will auto-populate the bank name and address fields.

Note: The available look-up button can retrieve bank information and validate the ABA number entered. This is also true for the next line, Recipient Bank Name.

5. Recipient Bank Name —Name of the receiving bank of the individual or organization for whom the wire is intended.

6. Recipient Account Number —Account number of the individual or organization for whom the wire is intended.

7. Recipient Name —Name of the individual or organization for whom the wire is intended. 8. Reference to Recipient — Optional memo line (16 characters max); information isn’t sent with wire. 9. Memo to Recipient (OBI) — Originator to Beneficiary Information field. Optional payment related

information visible to the Beneficiary (35 characters max). Note: Lines must be contiguous.

10. In-Line Errors – If any of the fields in the form contain invalid information, a message will display below the field to alert you to this.

11. Memo to Recipient Bank (BBI) — Bank to Bank Information field. Optional instructions to the beneficiary bank, not visible to the beneficiary.

12. Add a Secondary Recipient Bank — Clicking this will allow you to add an additional bank’s ABA routing number. If you’re provided two ABA numbers for your domestic wire, please:

a. Input the first bank in the flow in the Recipient Bank field; and b. Input the final bank in the flow in the Secondary Recipient Bank field.

13. Check Save as a Template to save this one-time wire as a template for future use. 14. Click Cancel to abandon the wire workflow and return to the Wire Transaction List. 15. Select Queue to schedule the wire transfer and submit it for approval.

Add Single Wires – One-Time International 1. Amount — The total value of funds you wish to send. 2. In-Line Errors – If any of the fields in the form contain invalid information, a message will display below the

field to alert you to this. 3. Value Date — Date the wire is schedule to be sent.

Note: This date must be a valid banking business day, not a holiday or weekend. 4. Debit Account — The wire’s funding account. 5. U.S. Intermediary Bank ABA — The ABA routing number of the U.S. intermediary receiving bank (required

for all international wires). By entering a valid ABA, the bank name and address fields below will be auto-populated. Note: If you’re unsure of what to enter here, you can use Find Correspondent (see #11 below) to look up a receiving bank compatible with the final beneficiary bank.

6. Us Intermediary Bank Name – Name of the bank associated with the ABA entered in the above field. 7. Add International Intermediary – Clicking this will allow you to input an additional set of routing

instructions if your routing information requires an international bank to serve as an intermediary prior to crediting funds to the final recipient bank.

8. Recipient Bank ID Type — Defaults to SWIFT BIC. 9. Recipient Bank SWIFT — SWIFT code for the Recipient Bank where the wire is being routed to. By entering

a valid SWIFT, the bank name and address fields below will be auto-populated. 10. Recipient Bank Name — Name associated with the above SWIFT code. 11. Find Correspondent — Look up a U.S. Intermediary Bank compatible with the recipient bank named in #9. 12. Recipient Account Number — The account number at the recipient bank to be credited by the wire. 13. Recipient Name — The name of the account associated with the above account number. 14. Reference to Recipient — Optional memo line (16 characters max). 15. Memo to Recipient (OBI) — Originator to Beneficiary Information field. Optional payment-related

information visible to the Beneficiary (35 characters max). Note: Lines must be contiguous.

16. Memo to Recipient Bank (BBI) — Bank to Bank Information field. Optional instructions to the beneficiary bank not visible to the beneficiary.

Add Single Wires – Domestic and International Wire Templates (Semi Repetitive) Send a domestic or international wire using an existing template. Refer to pages 11-14 for instructions to create wire templates.

1. Template ID — Name of the template you wish to use. Enter the Template ID or click to search existing templates.

2. Select the wire template you wish to use, then click OK. Note: If you’re sending a domestic wire, only domestic templates will appear. If you’re sending an international wire, only international wire templates will appear.

3. Amount — Total value of funds you wish to send. 4. Value Date — Date the wire is schedule to be sent.

Note: This date must be a valid banking business day, not a holiday or weekend. 5. Reference to Beneficiary — Optional memo line (16 characters max); information isn’t sent with wire. 6. Originator to Beneficiary Information (OBI) — Optional payment information visible to the Beneficiary

Approve Wire Templates If approvals have been turned on for the company profile, an Approve Templates tab will be available within Manage Templates in the top menu.

1. Select Wire Transfers from the left menu. 2. Select Manage Templates from the top menu. 3. Select the template(s) that require action. 4. Select Accept Changes to approve the wire template for use. 5. Select Reject Changes to discard the wire template. 6. Select Run Template Report to review wire template detailed instructions. 7. Select Export Template to export the select template(s) details to a spreadsheet 8. Optional: Enter the maximum dollar amount for which the template can be processed within the Amount

Limit column. Click Save Amount Limits to save the custom limits entered for the wire template(s).

Once wire templates are approved, they will be available for use in Single Wires, Wire Batches and Template Groups.

Group Templates Group saved templates of the same type to easily schedule multiple wire transfers at once.

1. Select Wire Transfers from the navigation bar to the left. 2. Select Manage Templates. 3. Select Wire Groups. 4. Select Add Group to create a new wire group. 5. Choose the application type for the template group using the drop-down menu. Select domestic or

international wire templates. Note: Template groups are composed of one type of wire. They do not contain mixed domestic and international wire applications.

6. Select the templates to be added to the wire group using the checkboxes provided, and use the arrow buttons to add or remove selected templates to the wire group.

7. Enter a Group Name and a Description for this wire group. 8. Select Save Group to save this wire group.

Add Wire Batch Batches enable you to send multiple wires at once. One-time wires, templates or template groups may be selected for inclusion in a batch.

1. Select Wire Transfers from the navigation bar on the left. 2. Select Add Wire Batch. 3. To create a batch by entering one-time wire instructions, or by using existing individual (Semi-Repetitive)

templates, use the Wire Application drop-down menu to select the type of wires you wish to use. See pages 19–20 for next steps. Note: Refer to pages 11–14 for instructions to create wire templates.

4. To create a batch using an existing group of templates, select Wire Group. See page 22 for next steps. Note: Refer to page 16 for instructions to group wire templates.

Add Wire Batch — Wire Application, Domestic and International One-Time Wires After you have chosen to create a batch by entering one-time wire instructions:

1. Specify the Value Date, which is the date the batch is schedule to be sent, then select OK. 2. Next, enter wire instructions as indicated on pages 4–9. 3. Select Save to save this wire to the batch. 4. Select Add to save this wire to the batch and begin adding another. 5. Use arrow buttons to flip between wires or skip to the first and last wires in the batch.

6. Select Cancel to discard the batch and return to the Wires Dashboard. Note: Once the batch is complete, refer to Manage Wire Batch (page 23) for next steps.

Add Wire Batch — Wire Application, Domestic and International Wire Templates After you have chosen to create a batch by using existing (Semi-Repetitive) templates, the appropriate wire templates will appear:

1. Select Semi-Repetitive Fed or Semi-Repetitive Fed Intl from the drop-down menu. 2. Enter in the Template ID or Beneficiary Name to search for the appropriate wire templates or select the

desired wire templates using the checkboxes in the list displayed. 3. Select Save as Batch. 4. Select the Value Date of the wire batch. 5. Enter in the Amount for the selected wire templates. 6. Optional: Enter in any additional payment information in the provided Reference fields.

Note: By clicking the plus sign, additional fields will appear. 7. Select View Detail in order to view the details of the wire template. 8. Select Remove Template to delete the wire template from the batch. 9. Select Add Templates to add additional wire templates to the batch. 10. Select Save to save the wire batch information.

Add Wire Batch — Wire Group After you have chosen to create a batch by using an existing group of wire templates:

1. Select the Group Name of the template group you wish to use (all wire templates within the group will be listed).

2. Select the Value Date for the wire batch. 3. Enter in the Amount for the selected wire templates. a. Optional: Enter in any additional payment information in the provided Reference fields.

Note: By clicking the plus sign, additional fields will appear. 4. Select View Detail in order to view the details of the wire template. 5. Select Remove Template to delete the wire template from the batch. 6. Select Add Templates to add additional wire templates to the batch. 7. Select Save to save the wire batch information.

Manage Wire Batch Once a wire batch is saved, you can review a summary of the wire transfers within that batch and submit it for approval within the Manage Wire Batch area.

1. Select Wire Transfers from the left menu. 2. Select Manage Wire Batch from the top menu. 3. Select the checkbox next to the wire batch or batches you wish to schedule. 4. Select Queue to Transaction List to submit the selected batch for approval and release. 5. Select Delete to delete the selected wire batch. 6. Select the Batch Amount to review and edit wire transfers within the selected batch. 7. Select Add Batch Wires to begin adding a new wire batch as shown on page 18.

Manage Revisions Selecting a wire for revision removes it from the Transaction List and sends it to a list of wire transfers that require edits before they are approved and released for payment.

1. Select Wire Transfers from the left menu. 2. In the Transaction List on the Wires Dashboard, select the checkbox next to the wire transfers you wish to

revise. 3. Select Revise. 4. Select Manage Revisions from the top menu. 5. Delete selected wires in the list of Pending Revisions. 6. Select the Amount to view and edit the wire instructions for the selected wire on the next page. 7. Select Queue to schedule the revised wire transfer and re-submit it for approval. Note: Wires cannot be revised once they have been released.

Wire History View up to 180 days of historic data for wire transfers initiated online.

1. Select Wire Transfers from the left menu. 2. Select View Online Wire Transfer History. 3. Filter List Results by entering search criteria if looking for a particular wire. 4. Click anywhere in-line with your wire to review wire instruction details. 5. Run a Detail Report or a Summary Report for selected wire transfers or export a CSV file of the Detail Export

or Summary Export for selected wire transfers. 6. Review the wire details under the following columns within the list of wire history:
