Capillus is a Coral Gables, Florida-based company that serves as a primary resource for the many men and women around the world battling hair loss, connecting patients to hair transplant surgeons and dermatologists for both surgical and non-invasive treatment options. Low-level light therapy (LLLT) is believed to stimulate the hair and produce a thicker, lustrous and more durable appearance. But few people have the option of visiting a physician’s office every other day to sit under a therapeutic light source.

Capillus is very much a people company that works with a network of authorized hair restoration professionals who evaluate patients with hair loss and recommend treatment options. We are making the Capillus272 available through these select physicians and medically supervised centers that determine patient suitability for treatment.

As patient leads are received through our marketing efforts, they are referred to physicians in the Capillus Affiliate Marketing Program. We pass along prospective patients’ hair history and inquiries received by phone or website as new patient leads for follow-up.

We are also a company with account representatives throughout the USA. And support is provided from our corporate office instead of a call center in another part of the world.

Low-level light therapy was first approved by the Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of mild to moderate hair loss for a laser comb device that re-grows hair.

Then in 2010, an in-office laser hood device for hair growth received FDA clearance for the treatment of hair loss in females by promoting hair growth in women with androgenic alopecia. LLLT has been demonstrated to increase cell metabolism and the health of blood vessels in the scalp for thicker, supple and more durable hair shafts.
