This is a well used route.

7. Access Officer’s Initial Comments This is an existing path which is well surfaced and appears to be well used as a link within the community and between some of the housing on Feochan Gardens and the upper part of Nant Drive and main Soroba Road and the primary school.

The site between the two road ends is the subject of a Planning Application for housing and already has Planning Permission in Principle for a housing development which includes a condition requiring the developer to maintain and enhance this path. See Appendix IV. When an application for Detailed Planning Permission is made the route will need to be amended slightly however the path itself is likely to improve as a result of this designation.

In the light of the above it is being proposed as an addition to the Core Paths Plan NP001.

Comment: The path has been used for years and is used on a regular basis there is quite a steep hill going round the road and it is less of an uphill climb and quicker using this path I have seen a lot of older residents using this path. It also a lovely path to walk as there is lots of wildlife deer squirrels etc seen all the time. Please keep this path in place
