    General Information for Students

    The course of study for the examination shall extend over a period of three years asan integrated course.

    The examination shall be conducted by means of written papers and practicals,wherever prescribed.

    The optional subjects and papers shall be as follows :

    First year of the degree course

    Section B : Will consist of 10 questions. Two question from each unit will be set

    and students will answer one question from each Unit Answer of each questionshall be limited upto 250 words. Each question carry 7 or 3.5 marks.

    Section C : Will consist of total 5 questions. The paper setter will set one questionfrom each Unit and students will answer any 3 questions and answer of eachquestion shall be limited upto 500 words. Each question carry 15 or 7.5 marks.

    (i) The Minimum pass percentage in each subject will be 36% (Both inTheory and Practical separately.)

    (ii)The Marks of Maths. Paper I and II will be reduced to 65 and Paper III willbe of 70 marks.

    (iii)The marks of Statistics Practical Paper will be reduced to 50.(iv) Per period timings in theory and Practical both will be 45 minutes.
