The VERDEJO grape varietal By Jancis Robinson.

•  -­‐”the  local  Verdejo  grape  is  responsible  for  the  most   exci4ng   and   dis4nc4ve   examples,  although   Sauvignon   Blanc   is   oUen   blended  with  it.  

•  -­‐”has   the   most   fruit   concentra4on   –   like  greengages  with  an   electric   shock   –   but   both  should   appeal   to   those   looking   for   an  alterna4ve   to   Sancerre   or   Marlborough  Sauvignon  Blanc”-­‐

•  -­‐”Galicia's  Albariño  and  Rueda's  Verdejo   are   two   white   grape  varie4es   of   undisputable   class  and  interest.

•  -­‐”Verdejo  is  light  yellowish  gold  in  color.    •  Stonefruit  with  tropical  fruit  and  citrus  on  the  nose.    •  On   the   palate,   orchard   fruit,   melon,   tropical   and  citrus  notes  with  a  li#e  white  pepper  and  spice.    

•  Vibrant   acidity   with   a   clean   finish.   Very  approachable  and  quaffable.  

•  Incredibly  fresh.  Grassy  but  also  apricot  flavours  and  a  touch  of  spice  even  without  oak.  Bright  fruit.    

•  Very   clean   and   long.   Ripe   fruit   and   s4ll   very   fresh.  Mouthfilling  but  elegant  too”-­‐.

The  TEMPRANILLO    grape  varietal  

•  -­‐”The   tempranillo   grape   is   one   of   the  World  most  famous  grape  varietal”.  

•  Tipically   shows   a   deep   red   colour,   spicy   and  red   fruit   aromas,   such   as   cherry,   raspberry,  wildberry   and   with   oak   ageing,   leather,  liquorice,  game.  

•  Finest  Spanish  wines  are  made  of  tempranillo  grapes   grown   in   Duero   valley   (Pingus,   Vega   Sicilia,  Protos,  Pesquera,  Thermania/Numanthia  )  

•  top   winemakers   love   it   (Lurton,   LMVH,   Peter   Sisseck,  Bernard  Magrez,    Telmo  Rodriguez,  ..)
