We are excited to be coming back after a brief period away due to COVID-19 and the restrictions that were put into place. We understand that there are many concerns regarding COVID-19 and that the health and safety of your child/ren is of the upmost importance.

Cootharinga North Queensland, monitor and assess the COVID-19 situation daily and have been following the advice of State and Federal Governments. Cootharinga have implemented COVID-19 safe plans throughout the organisation including the School Holiday Program. If you have any questions on our processes and would like to discuss with us further, please contact us on 1800 266 842.

Please note that as much as we will try to keep our schedule as advertised, the following programs can change at any time, based on the health advice and restrictions put into place by the State and Federal Governments.

Personal Hygiene

• Personal hygiene is to be at a high standard and we will assist your child/ren to wash their hands between eating and all activities

• Facilities will be available for participants to wash hands between eating and activities. We will also provide hand sanitising stations where possible.

Social Distancing

• A minimum 1.5 metre distance is to be kept between participants at all times.

• All enclosed rooms have been measure to ensure there are no more than 1 person per 2m square space.

Feeling Unwell

• If your child is feeling unwell, please do not bring them to the program untill well and they are showing no symptoms.

• If your childs starts to show signs of illness we will give the primary contact a call to come and collect the child to go home.
