These are some of the voices of Canadiansoldiers in Wwll. They were the secondgeneration in our century to volunteer foroverseas duty. And they continue as the firstand the last - the first to see their continentmotorized and then paved, the first to see theirworld networked, by both wire and wireless, and the last who saw and survived thecentury's six year convulsive horror of war, holocaust and despair. These are their stories,in unassuming tones and without added colour, personal memoirs of those who did much.Their crusade helped to provide for others theculture and life of Canada today, a prize to berecognized and cherished as the centurcloses.
