How can teachers use new media in their lessons? Some examples are: Digital Storytelling: Digital storytelling refers to a short form of digital film-making

that allows everyday people to share aspects of their life story. Wiki: A wiki is a website that users can edit without having any programming skills.

This makes wikis great for use in the classroom. WebQuest: A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented format in which most or all the

information that learners work with comes from the web. Blog: A blog is a website to which the author or administrator posts an initial entry

and other users respond. Podcast: A podcast is a type of digital media consisting of an episodic series of audio

files subscribed to and downloaded through web syndication or streamed online to a computer or mobile device.

VoiceThread: VoiceThread is a collaborative, multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and videos and allows people to navigate slides and leave comments – using voice, text, audio file, or video.
