Unlvenldade Federal do Pampa CONVENTION 78/2014 Convention that FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF PAMPA - UNIPAMPA - and COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY celebrate, aiming the development of the obligatory and not obligatory internships, according to the Law 11.788, dated September 25 111 , 2008. FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF PAMPA, higher education federal institution, linked to the Education Ministry, created through the Law 11.640, dated from January 11, 2008, enrolled at CNPJ under the 09. 341 .233/0001-22, located in the city of Sage-RS, at 900 General Osorio Avenue, represented by its Rector Prof. Dr. Ulrika Arns, Brazilian, university professor, living at 1270 Fabricio Pilar Street, Downtown, in the city of Sage - RS, presenting 10 card n"' 1026886174-SSP and enrolled at CPF under the 485. 111 .020-00, from now on referred as to UNIPAMPA; and The Board of Governors of the Colorado State University System acting by and through Colorado State University, located at 01 Administration Building, 0006 Campus Delivery, Fort Collins, CO 80523-0006 from now on referred as CSU , through the clauses described as follows, resolve in mutual agreement, to firm this convention, according to the Law 11.788 dated September 25 111 , 2008, which will be ruled by the following clauses: CALUSE FIRST • OBJECT The aim of this Convention is the establishment and the development of Federal University of Pampa internship students' activities at CSU's Equine Reproduction Laboratory, Biomedical Sciences located at 1693 Campus Detrvery, Fort Collinst Colorado USA, involving both obligatory and not obligatory internships, in the graduation courses training plans. Single Caput: In common agreement and based on the Law 11 .788/08, it has been decided that the internship has to be characterized, in practice, as an educative action supervised by University and Internship Field professionals, developed at the work place, aiming to the initial training of graduation students towards the productive work. CLAUSE SECOND- EXECUTION The object approached by the previous clause will be developed through the mutual execution of tasks, personnel temporary cooperation and equipments use, facilities or teachers, students and professionals services of the involved parts.

Convention that FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF PAMPA - UNIPAMPA - and COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY celebrate, aiming the development of the obligatory and not obligatory internships, according to the Law 11.788, dated September 25111

CLAUSE THIRD - INTERNSHIPS

For each internship there will be an Internship Commitment Term, celebrated between the student and the Internship Field, with UNIPAMPA's obligatory participation. The Internship Commitment Term will be linked to this Convention once it qualifies the special juridical relation existent between the intern and CSU, establishing in legal order that the internship will not imply employment link of any nature between the parts.

CLAUSE FOURTH- INTERNSHIP DETERMINATIONS

The supervised internship of the UNIPAMPA's graduation courses will take place according to the national rules and the corresponding syllabus directions, as well as the Institutional Pedagogic Project and the Course's Pedagogic Project in which the student is regularly enrolled, involving the type and length of activities defined in this convention. The internship length, the assistance, as well as the intern's work schedule, will be established at the Internship Commitment Term formation, by the intern, UNIPAMPA and CSU, in a way not to compromise the intern's attendance to the classes.

First Caput: the internship activities' schedule must be compatible to the university activities and to the INTERNSHIP FIELD work hours;

Second Caput: During school vacation, the internship schedule will be determined by common agreement between the intern and the CSU, having UNIPAMPA's appreciation.

CLAUSE FIFTH- UNIPAMPA's RESPONSIBILITIES

a) To guide able students to internships, that incorporates the syllabus requirements of each course;

b) To track the internships development, through the Internship Division and the courses coordination, articulated with UNIPAMPA's capable sectors;

c) To celebrate the Internship Commitment Term with the student or his legal representative or legal assistant, and with the CSU, pointing the internship qualifying conditions to the course pedagogic proposal, the student formation stage, as well as the academic schedule and calendar;

d) To assess the CSU facilities and its adjustment to the cultural and Professional formation of the student;

e) To assign an internship advisor professor, to be the responsible for the tracking and evaluation of the intern activities;

f) To require from the student the periodic presentation, in not more than 6 (six) months, the internship activities report;

g) To concern about the accomplishment of the Internship Commitment Term, redirecting the student to another position in any case of disobedience of its rules and unsatisfactory conditions of mutual supervision;

h) To elaborate complementary rules and evaluation tools for the internships;

i) To communicate to the CSU, as early as possible, the academic events, special activities, academic evaluations and other dates, which demand the student full attendance at the University;

j) To communicate to the CSU and to guarantee the internship conclusion, presenting the respective registration at the Internship Commitment Term, right after the conclusion or abandon of the course, the cancelling or interruption of the enrollment of internship students.

Single Caput: UNIPAMPA will not be charged by any action or omission, deceitful or not, by the interns, being they responsible for any and all onus that might be caused to the CSU, the University or to others. UNIPAMPA will neither be responsible for the interns' commutation to the CSU or their meal supply.

SIXTH CLAUSE- CSU's RESPONSIBILITIES

a) To offer facilities and work conditions that lead the interns to social, Professional and cultural learning activities;

b) To firm the Internship Commitment Term with UNIPAMPA and the intern, guaranteeing its accomplishment;

c) To provide to UNIPAMPA. when necessary, subsidies that allow the tracking and assessment of the internship;

d) To determine a worker from its staff, professionally graduated or experienced in the knowledge area of the intern, to advise and guide him;

e) To communicate UNIPAMPA about the interruption, conclusion or any modifications of the participant in the Internship Commitment Term;

f) To sign up personal accidents insurance in the intern benefit, which policy would be compatible to the market values, as to be established in the Internship Commitment Term;

g) By the time of the inter detachment, hand out the internship participation term presenting a summarized indication of his activities, during the periods of performance evaluation;

h) To convey the examination of documents which verify the internship relation;

i) To send to UNIPAMPA, in a 6 (six) month basis, activity report, an internship demand.

First Caput: When the internship is obligatory, the responsibility for the insurance previously referred at item "f' of this clause could be, as an alternative, delegated to UNIPAMPA, as should be established at the Internship Commitment Term.

Second Caput: When the internship is not obligatory the concession of assistance and transport assistance is compulsory.

CLAUSE SEVENTH - THE STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

a) To engage in all activities related to the internship (work meetings, evaluation, planning, execution, and others);

b) To perform with ethics and dedication all activities and actions to him demanded;

c) To observe the internship conditions. firmed in the Internship Commitment Term, as well as the work rules established by the CSU:

d) To observe the internship schedule, communicating in time when there is no possibility of taking it;

e) To communicate UNIPAMPA on any relevant action about the internship;

f) To elaborate and hand in to the advisor, for analysis of the CSU and/or UNIPAMPA, report(s) about the internship, in the terms previously firmed;

g) To communicate UNIPAMPA about the interruption, conclusion or casual modifications of the participant in the Internship Commitment Term;

h) To observe the times and dates established in the Internship Commitment Term.

CLAUSE EIGHT- THE TERM

This Convention will last for 5 (five) years starting from this date, and it can be renewed towards Implementation Adjustment, as welt as revoked at any time. by the parts will, since the written communication arrives 30 (thirty) days before the date intended for the rescission, with no damage to the conclusion of the ongoing internships.

CLAUSE NINETH - MODIFICATIONS

This Convention can be modified at any time by the participants will, when there will be Project modification or of its particularities, to better technical adaptation to the respective objectives, through the Implementation Adjustment.

CLAUSE TENTH - PUBLISHING

It will be UNIPAMPA's responsibility, obeying legal schedule, to provide the publishing of this Convention extract, in its Service Journal.

CLAUSE ELEVENTH - FORUM

The casual doubts originated from this instrument execution will be administratively resolved in common agreement by the participants or, in case of need, through the Federal Justice Forum - Bage/RS Judicial Section, with explicit renouncement of any other, as privileged as it is.
