Most of the proposals try to emulate traditional building models or natural stacking of containers. Our proposal is based on a new model of stacking to profitable the physical and structural containers qualities; working not only in the climatic conditions: interior fittings and where they are placed, but also being the support of new spaces of relation which are generated by stacking them. The container defines the heated space and the relationship space generating humanized spaces. For more detailed explanation of the concept we have used one of the proposals we have done, this is the competition for the construction of 32 housing projects in Portugalete (Spain). We set a complex stacking with the objective (after creating heated spaces) of getting a generation of paths and seating areas with different levels of privacy inside the building. Furthermore the proposal gives the exterior an image of permeability allowing the passage of air and vision. An additional issue, we propose a system to expand each house to allow the adaptation of some units according to family growth. Bridging physical conditions, especially regarding to the slope of the plot which resolved in a unique way, the model is fully exportable to any of our cities, which together with its removable and temporary character its offers us suggestive solutions such as: using this kind of model as emergency housing either during periods of crisis or simply for the comprehensive rehabilitation of buildings and neighborhoods like temporary support of these operations without this quality of life and spaces of some individuals may experience impairment. This model is also interesting in a public-private housing formula. The government can put in temporary charge spaces that cannot be implemented in a short term. So, private investors would insert these buildings and would rent it putting in charge empty urban areas and reinforcing the new growth tissues more quickly. No doubt, the cost reduction in this type of proposal is attractive both the investor and the end user who has access to homes (or offices) for rent at affordable prices without diminish the livability of the spaces created. Measuring up to the target issues for sustainable construction

Innovation and transferability - Progress

From simple stacking to complex stacking. Using recycled containers for both the generation of heated space but especially for the creation ofspaces for relation through new forms of stacking. These very low cost intermediate spaces make proposals with a greater degree of habitability. To develope physical and geometric characteristics of the containers to generate a new form of composition that avoid the traditional buildingmodels or their own related to storage containers.Using simple technologies and materials for their development in any place without skilled labor, a major raw material in any port in the worldthanks to the comercial exchange and with a secondary raw materials that will be adapted to local availability, climatology and specific needs.

Ethical standards and social equity - People

The creation of spaces of relation promote communication between people, this is to restore the image and social interactions that weregenerated in the old models of interior courtyards. The use of industrialization allows us to introduce advanced standards in safety and health for the industry's own workers which are hardlyachievable in traditional building as well as better waste management to occur in a controlled way.Faster and cheaper construction: we can find solutions to emergency needs and / or temporary needs. The temporary buildings allow government to have a reusable building stock to use in rehabilitation of buildings or neighborhoods in the city, orto provide accommodation during the initial moments of creation of new city areas in floors that cannot enter in short-term load, causing a morerapid consolidation of the city.

Environmental quality and resource efficiency - Planet

Temporality: it reduces the impact on land use for future generations.Working with material from the local recycling allows us to reduce the energy needed in the construction process and generate a social image t ofhow waste can be transformed into a product. The temporary character allows a maintenance task during the disassembly-assembly process wich facilitates the extension of life cycles.Containers are 100% recyclable just in the moment they are not yet interesting because of deterioration.

[ Self assessment ]

Economic performance and compatibility - Prosperity

Savings of around 20% over traditional buildings.Application of public-private formulas: transferring land by the administration and in the returns for the developer are 5-7 years. After removaland use in new cycles of use the investment is recovered in much lower terms.Returns for investors, the administration can offer rental services deficit today, and for people accessing to an economic rent with a good qualityof living.

[ Self assessment ]

Contextual and aesthetic impact - Proficiency

Possibility of generating cultural, social, commercial buildings that work temporarily and can even be moving through the different city urbangaps in response to structural deficits so quickly. The contemporary image of the proposals suggests awareness in the transformation of waste products in products. This process generate in thetransformation an economic activity and a reasonable cost of use. Separate or Recycle.
