CONSTRUCTION CAREER DAY SUMMARY REPORT
The growth since 1999, the year when the Construction Career Day Program was founded in Texas, has been phenomenal. The local initiative has evolved into a nationally recognized program due in part to the local CCD volunteers and the staff at the National Construction Career Day Center believing in the process of continuous improvement. With each event, something new is learned.
The information provided in this report will assist us in building upon the success of the Construction Career Days initiative. Your successes and challenges will be shared with other CCD Teams across the nation and will be of help in the continual improvement of the CCD Program. If at all possible please submit this report to the National Construction Career Day Center within 45 calendar days following your event. Please feel free to submit photographs and video footage of your event.
We maintain a database of this information that is yours for the asking.
The instructions for each section of the report are in italics.

From: Hofstrand, Carolyn S.Subject: RE: Construction DAYS
Just an over note to say thank you for another great event. This still is the best hands on field trip that gives students ideas on careers they may not have thought of prior to the experience. Our appreciation for everyone who makes it happen even in these tough economic times.

West Orange HS Parent: Wow, Mr. Z! My son had such a great experience! Matthew had wonderful exposure to so many things. He learned a great deal, and had many stories of the day spent at the construction career expo. Thank you so much for bringing the kids to this outstanding event, he was quite overwhelmed at the opportunities and exposure he had there. He will never forget it, and no telling what long term influence it has had on him............... It was great, and as a parent, saying "thank you" does not seem like enough. So, THANK YOU so very much for really nurturing these kids, and especially my son, Matt.
Thank you for the great field trip. The individual booths were wonderful. My students loved the heavy equipment that they drove. – Brevard Co. Teacher
