The use of media and public relations plays an ever increasing role in our lives. This includes the tak-

ing, recording and in-house publication of photos and videos, the presentation of works in exhibi-

tions and galleries, the creation of chronicles and diverse media to be used in our education and care

work. With the in-house communication of data and images etc. personal data is also affected.

Therefore, your permission/consent is necessary. The image rights are not passed on to commercial

agencies or used for commercial purposes. Of course, we make sure that nobody is portrayed in a

negative, hurtful or derogatory way.

I hereby give my consent that portraits of my child - including name - may be used within the scope

of internal communication by the Leipzig International School for the purpose of documentation, the

implementation of our educational goals or the compilation of albums (e.g. yearbook). I am entitled

at any time to object to the further use of the image into the future.

For the use of portraits that are publicly accessible (for example on the homepage) a separate con-

sent must be given, if necessary.

Consent to the use of software for the implementation of the

School Contract - Secondary School

As part of the implementation of our educational and care mandate Leipzig International

School teachers make use of software and applications to facilitate digital learning.

Digital learning supports Leipzig International School teachers and students in increasing in-

dividual learning motivation and helps adapt learning content and tempo to personal needs.

The use of software and applications as well as the interactive exchange of information may

require the disclosure of personal data of the student. Regardless of the specific purpose of

the software, protecting the personal data of students is our top priority.

Therefore, the personal data is used only where necessary or we work with anonymous data

as far as possible. For most of the processing of personal data, the Leipzig International

School has applications that are hosted and provided in Leipzig under the sole responsibility

of LIS. In addition, however, there are also applications that are provided by third parties and

are used by LIS as part of the education and care mandate.

Attachment 1 of this declaration lists the software programs and applications that are used in

the course of the school day and explains the student information required for this purpose.

The software used in everyday school life is constantly evolving and programs are being up-

dated and replaced. An up-to-date overview of the software in use and its purpose or the per-

sonal data processed here, can be found in the parent portal.
