Beach Villas

Set on the beach, in all 35 Beach Villas (up to 150m2) a glass-walled bedroom opens onto a terrace and private garden

which leads to the beach, while to the rear a fountain courtyard is part of the secluded open-air garden-bathroom with a

thatched-roof bathing pavilion featuring an outsized bathtub and romantic mood lighting.

11 interconnecting villas allow flexible accommodation options for families or friends travelling together.

Delux e Beach Villas

An abundance of space (up to 300m2) is the hallmark of the 42 Deluxe Beach Villas where guests enjoy absolute comfort

in spacious bedrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows on all four sides that can be fully opened to bring the natural beauty

of the Maldives into the room. A large private garden and plunge pool, just steps from the beach and elegantly screened

by exotic tropical foliage, round out the experience. The open-air garden-bathroom is a pleasure of senses from the scent

of frangipani flowers to the playful tinkle of the fountain. The enormous bathing pavilion calls out for candles, flower petals

and sumptuous oils which can be ordered from the in-villa bath menu.

Junior Be ach Suite s

Built in November 2011, the two Junior Beach Suites (up to 368m2) comprise a Deluxe Beach Villa with the addition of a

large living room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the suites pool and garden. They offer a taste of the suite life

with their spacious light-filled glass-enclosed living room adjoining the large bedroom which in turn opens onto an open

air-garden bathroom. The Junior Beach Suites feature a private plunge pool set in its own garden area just steps from the

beach. The west-facing Junior Beach Suite offers views of spectacular Maldivian sunsets while the suite on the east side of

the island is an easy paddle to the coral reef.

Created in November 2011 both of the two-bedroomed Beach Suites (up to 668m2) offer prime beachfront living on the

main island, one facing the sunrise and one the sunset. Comprising a Junior Beach Suite and Deluxe Beach Villa, the luxurious

suites include two private plunge pools set in landscaped gardens to give the luxurious options of chilling out in the pool

just steps f rom the comfort of the villa . Each suite has a glori ous sun-fi lled liv ing room with f loor-to-ceiling windows an d

two outdoor garden-bathrooms with a courtyard, fountain, bathing pavilion, open-air shower, and all the amenities needed

to enjoy the comfort and style a vacation destination as unique as the Maldives has to offer.

The villas have their own private gardens filled with lush foliage native to the Maldives where guests can relax on their own

private veranda or pool. On the other side of this exotic landscaping are the beach and the turquoise waters of the ocean.

Retreat Water Villas

The 21 luxurious Retreat Water Villas (150m2) are set on

stilts in a private part of the resorts lagoon and offer an

over-water home-from-home designed for pure relaxation

of mind, body and soul. Clustered around the Spa

Retreat one of three spas at the resort each villa is

the perfect escape from the outside world and has a

separate spa treatment room that incorporates two

massage beds, a mini gym and medicine ball. Their

spacious design blends contemporary Maldivian style

in a natural harmony of wooden interiors and a breezy

indoor-outdoor feel. The Indian Ocean is always in view

allowing guests to feel at one with nature.

The bathrooms large windows can be fully opened to

create a full outdoor effect.

Spa-themed mini-bars encourage personal pampering with

organic foods and juices. With ocean-views from all aroundas well as a private and quiet environment away from the

rest of the resort, guests can enjoy personal me time to

relax, and doze off to the gentle lapping of the waves

below. Each private sundeck has a large Jacuzzi and steps

leading directly into the lagoon.

WaterVilla

The Water Villas (86m2) were completely rebuilt in November 2011 and boast ocean view baths and private sun terraces

with steps into the lagoon, a private plunge pool with water jets and a heavenly contemporary setting. The highlight of the

architecture is the glass desk which is set over glass panels giving the impression that it is floating over the water below.

The dcor of the villas features elegant natural tones of wood and soft whites with gentle shades of lavender and green.

Understated, recessed lighting adds to the contemporary feel.

Each villa boasts a private sundeck with wooden sun loungers, umbrella and plunge pool making this an ideal spot for pri-

vate sun bathing during the day, or star gazing at night. Steps leading from the sundeck into the welcoming waters of the

lagoon below allow endless swimming and snorkeling options right in front of the villa.

Superio r WaterVilla

The Superior Water Villas (76m2) offer guests all the pleasures of a Water Villa in still more luxurious surroundings with a

bed that faces directly to the ocean and a Jacuzzi on the sun deck. All Superior Water Villas face the sunset making a

sundowner cocktail or two in the evenings an absolute must.

All Deluxe Water Villas (115m2) face the sunset and offer a further taste of luxury with a large outdoor Jacuzzi on the

The two Premier Water Villas (152m2) were built for design lovers and feature a host of high-tech gadgets such as a 50-inch

plasma screen TV, designer furniture, and outdoor sundeck with a large infinity-edged pool. Inside, the mood is contemporary

chic with whitewashed walls and sloping ceilings showcasing a great selection of artworks by Maldivian artist Eagan Badeeu.

Comprising two Premier Water Villas, the Premier Water Suite (304m2) is an outstanding two-bedroom hideaway on stilts

Sunset Water Villa

The ultimate in island luxury is found in the two stunning Sunset Water Villas (452m2), set in their own private area of the

lagoon and reached by jetboat or private walkway. Home to royalty, celebrities and the worlds top sport stars, the villas are

located at the very tip of Rangali Island. Glass-floors in the living room provide spectacular views of the marine life below,

whilst a round bed rotates 270 degrees to follow the breathtaking sunsets. If the undersea life isnt enough entertainment,

each villa has flat screens and satellite TV throughout, DVD and CD players, Bose sound system and state-of-the-art touch-

screen computers.

A second king-sized bedroom with a flat-screen TV which descends from the bedroom ceiling, two large marble bathrooms
