CDGA Handicap Info
Season officially ended Wednesday, October 31. (This was the final day for accepting scores)
Reminder: The USGA has adopted a national revision schedule. All revisions will take place on the 1st and 15th of every month,
year round. To clarify, while the Handicap Index will revise year round, the season for posting scores will be April 1 to October 31. Any rounds played in our District during the
months of November through March are NOT to be posted for handicap purposes. However, if rounds are played in areas of the country that are in season, they are
to be posted.
Where will you be shopping during the upcoming holidays? What, when, and how are you likely to check off the items on your shopping list? If you’re out shopping this holiday season and you see something you like for yourself or someone else,
check w/ the EBCC Golf Shop first. Just because we may not have every item in stock in the golf shop, it doesn’t mean that we
can’t special order it. We have accounts with just about every golf vendor out there. We may be able to special order the same item through the golf shop and save you up to 25% or more. We would be happy to help find that perfect gift for the people on
your Christmas list. Be on the lookout for BLACK FRIDAY SPECIALS from the EBCC
Golf Shop, including Black Friday golf lesson package specials.
November Golf Tip
Keep your Golf Swing in the Groove this offseason As most of you know, Eagle Brook CC has an indoor golf practice area during the Winter Months. There are many advantages for working on your game during the off-season. Golfers will work on swing fundamentals rather than watching the result of the golf ball. Individual hitting stations, heated, will help to keep you sharp in the off season. We should have the indoor hitting stations up by mid November. Stop by and check out our indoor golf practice area located in the Cart Barn.
For those of you needing a little more help on your game, we will be offering Private instruction. Taking swing changes to the golf course can be a very difficult thing to deal with. Golfers will have enough time to get comfortable w/ any adjustments before playing next season. You will be able to easily monitor adjustments and the resulting improvements (before & after) w/ the use of a video camera, computer golf swing software, swing –aids, and mirrors. For more information about lessons during the off-season, call or email me. For those of you who purchased Guest pass booklets, they do not rollover to the 2019 golf season. Make sure to use any remaining guest passes this season. For those of you who have Credit Book winnings from this past year, it does not rollover to the 2019 golf season. Make sure to use any remaining golf shop credits.
November Golf Specials
When the Bears win – You Win!!! When the Chicago Bears win a game, you will

used towards other discounted items. **Maximum discount is
30%*** May not be used for hard goods (clubs, balls, etc.)
