Log into CPMS and choose “Confirm Research Activity” in the menu on the left hand side of the screen

Locate your study and click “Confirm Research Activity” to enter the confirmation screen

Set the Research Activity Period to “until the end of last month”

(Optional): review your data by downloading an Excel copy of all of the data (this step may be especially helpful if you have a large or otherwise complicated data set and you want to compare the download to the information you hold locally in databases or spreadsheets)

Review and confirm any accurate data under “Confirm Participant Totals”. Use the different views and filter and sort functionality to double check any data with a status of “Requires confirmation”; e.g. if the totals in the Study View look incorrect, you can move to the Study Site View to check site totals individually, confirming any correct totals as you make your way through. Always save any confirmation.

(If required): review and confirm any data that has a confirmation status of “Requires reconfirmation” in the Detailed View (using the filter functionality to find the correct line of data if needed). Remember to save!

Now, with only inaccurate data left, in the Detailed View, confirm the incorrect lines as inaccurate, providing information on exactly what is incorrect. Again, remember to save!
