Introduction

• This slide demonstrates steps to configure MS

outlook to use it to access XL mail.

Step 1: Enable IMAP

Enable IMAP from the settings Tab of

your XL mail account.

Step 2: Run Outlook

Run MS outlook. If you don’t have any

existing account, you will see a

windows a shown below. Select yes

and press next.

Step 3: Enter Email Accounts Settings

• Enter account settings as shown below.

• Replace user name and password with your respective

user name and password.

Step 4: Configure Advanced Settings

• Go to more settings options as shown in previous slide.

• On the new window, go to advanced tab and change

settings as shown.

Step 6: Test Account Settings

• Now you would be back at the screen shown in step 3.

• If test succeeds, it means everything is ok.
