SMED National Competition Confederation of Indian Industry ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Ÿ Presentaon will include Photographs and Videos. Presenters may bring models / small parts as a support for presentaon. Ÿ Case study can be presented by maximum 3 team members. Presentaon can be made either in English or in Hindi language. Ÿ Time alloed for presentaon is 15 Minutes for one case study, followed by 3 Minutes Queson me for Juries and 2 minutes for changeover. CII Instute of Quality is pleased to announce the SMED Compeon on 20th August 2018, Bengaluru. SMED is an approach to overcome losses, due to changeovers. The method has been developed in Japan by Shigeo Shingo, and has proved its effecveness in many companies, by reducing changeover mes from hours to minutes. The objecve of the compeon is to help companies witness actual case studies from various companies, to reduce their Non-Value added acvies on a larger extent. BROAD PROGRAMME The broad Programme of the day will be: Ÿ SMED Teams Presentaon for the Compeon Ÿ Best teams will be decided by the team of Jury members and awarded with a trophy and a Cerficate in the Valedictory Session on the same day. Participate as a Delegate Any person, who would like to learn about SMED can parcipate as a delegate.
