As this work draws to a close, you should see a noticeable reduction in the number of wagons entering and exiting the site. In the meantime, traffic marshals will remain in place at the entry and exit gates on Verulam Passage and Clarendon Road. In our previous newsletter, we advised that the council had allowed us to move vehicles from our site from 7.00am to support the bulk excavation work. This is now complete, and site operating hours will revert to 8.00am from 19th September. As we enter the next section of works, we will start pouring the concrete for the basement floor level foundations, and for the columns and walls. These works will commence in the coming weeks on the basement level. They may occasionally involve some late running works in order to finish the concrete, but we will endeavour to keep these to a minimum. The second tower crane on site is due to be erected on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September 2018. To ensure the safety of pedestrians and drivers, we have arranged for lane and footway closures along Clarendon Road until the installation is complete.
