• Accommodation (bed and breakfast) for competitors during the 5-night Competition period, September 3rd - 8th, 2013, is paid by the Bailliage of Turkey. However, competitors sharing rooms with their spouses or partners are subject to an additional room charge of 65 Euros per room per night.
• Official Companions requiring a separate room from the competitor must pay for their own accommodation. Meals for the competitors. including the Grand Chapitre dinner, are paid for by the Bailliage of Turkey. Official Companions are responsible for all their own meals and activities. Official Companions will not be registered without this information. All expenses must be paid in advance using the method below. Room fees for competitors staying longer than 5 nights must be included in the fees being sent for the Official Companion. Credit or debit cards are not accepted.

The Grand Chapitre Gala Dinner is formal and competitors must wear dress whites, black pants only, toque, and neckerchief. You must wear the new BRAGARD jacket to be presented to you at the competition.
The required uniform for the competitors at the competition is chef’s hat (toque), white jacket (supplied by Chef's-Hat Inc.), black or black checkered pants, white apron and neckerchief. Competitors without the required uniform will have marks deducted in the competition.

All competitors are expected to attend and participate in official competition functions, receptions, dinners and must remain at the Grand Chapitre until the results of the competition are announced. Competitors will be included in as many functions as possible in order to learn about the culinary and community aspects of the country they are visiting. In this way, the competitors are able to create links with other Jeunes Chefs around the world. Competitors are expected to participate in any promotional or public relations activities relating to the competition or any events associated with the competition and Grand Chapitre event.
