3 massive bombs explode at an interval of 5 seconds each to tear apart the harmoniously disorganized busy Zaveri Bazzar in Mumbai on 29th of August 2003 at 8:15am. The street which was filled with - regular commuters at the bus stop, street hawkers, beggars by the Ganesh mandir, few late morning walkers, college students waiting for their pick up bus, office goers rushing in for work, devotees beginning to come into the temple for the morning pooja, etc, now looked like a devastated war zone. The Sounds of laughter, vehicle movement, street hawking, temple bells are all now replaced by shrill wails, people shouting in pain & agony, confusion and commotion.

There is blood everywhere, torn limbs strewn around, bodies of people dug into the massive rubble, many badly wounded, wailing in pain. Fortunate or unfortunate to survive, which only time would declare. There is commotion and confusion with people running helter skelter, some with the courageous heart and thought to give a helping hand while some unable to come out of this rude shock. This was part of a well planned execution of AI-Quaida, which on the same day and approximately around the same time had carried out this barbarious act in other cities across India.

The play then moves 5 years ahead and deals with family and issues related to the after effects of the bomb blast. The effect of the bomb blast is viewed from three different perspectives by three different families.
