Highlights (18th March to 22th April 2020)

➢Established a 24 Hrs emergency control room with dedicated toll free number 1800-425-1234

at IRCS, A.P. State Branch

➢Around 2000 Volunteers are serving across the state everyday

➢The APSB released 29000 Posters with precautionary measures to be taken and dispatched

them to the Districts to communicate the same among the public.

➢3.9 lakh Pamphlets were printed and distributed across the state with details of precautions.

➢Announcements were made at Traffic Junctions to educate the people.

➢Release of Videos and e-content in the social media.

➢Conducted house-to-house campaign and survey about the foreign returned members of family.

➢Promoted and spread awareness on JANATA CURFEW on 22-03-2020 & Lock Down by

publishing posters, erecting flexi banners, signboards, radio programmes, etc.

➢Distributed 2.10 Lakh Face Masks among the people in general and especially among the

officers and staff involved in Corona Duties.

➢4.4 Lakh Food packets and Water are continuously been distributed among the homeless

people, beggars, pavement dwellers, etc. who have been suffering due to sudden clamping of

Total Shut Down.

➢Helping authorities to mark Social Distance circles for customers to stand in Rythu Bazars and

market places.

➢Distributed Food and Water among the Police, Press & Media and Sanitation Work Force, who

are rendering services round the clock.

➢Distributed 190 Tons of Rice, vegetables and dry rations among old age homes and orphanages.

➢250 hoarding have been erected in main centers for awareness

➢9500* awareness camps have been organized across the state

➢21 community kitchens are organized

➢8 Night / Relief shelters being maintained

➢83000 pairs of gloves distributed across the state

➢ 3 Disinfection tunnels arranged at Prima Locations by IRCS, Prakasam District Branch

➢District Control Room for relief distribution arranged at IRCS Guntur District Branch

➢IRCS Guntur Branch has given the responsibility of managing District Covid-10

(all operations) control room at District Collector office

➢Home delivery of daily essentials in RED ZONE area by IRCS Volunteers in West Godavari,

Guntur, Kadapa
