The COMPOS collection designed by Samuli Naamanka consists of three different chair models. There is a material innovation behind the COMPOS collection - the seats of the chairs are produced from Finnish linen and corn starch which is polymerized from natural fibre. The material of the seats is 100% biodegradable. In addition to the features and criteria of the chair that is especially designed for public spaces, ergonomics and durability are also accentuated. Thanks to the 3-D shape of the seat, it is comfortable to sit on. The seat is also very durable and easy to clean.
The steel frame of the chairs is chromed or matt chromed steel tube. This steel frame can be recycled totally (100%) by using it as raw material for the production of stainless steel. The chair has passed the fire tests FM VSS 302 as well as 95/28 EC annex 4 and 5. Chemical burn free materials have not been added to the material.
The collection includes three different chairs: COMPOS LOBBY chair, COMPOS CONFERENCE chair and COMPOS CAFÉ chair.

Samuli Naamangan COMPOS mallisto sisältää tällä hetkellä kolme tuolivaihtoehtoa. Malliston taustalla on materiaali-innovaatio – istuimet valmistetaan suomalaisesta pellavasta ja maissisokerista polymeroidusta luonnonkuidusta. Materiaali on 100% biohajoavaa. Materiaalivalintojen lisäksi mallistossa on keskitytty julkitilakalus-teille asetettuihin perinteisiin vaatimuksiin: hyvään ergonomiaan, kestävyyteen ja mahdollisimman vaivattomaan huollettavuuteen. Istuinten 3-D muodon ansiosta istuminen on miellyttävää, istuimet ovat käytössä erittäin kestäviä ja helppoja puhdistaa.
Tuolien rungot ovat kromattua tai mattakromattua teräsputkea. Näin pintakäsitelty teräsrunko on täysin (100%) kierrätettävissä ruostumattoman teräksen valmistukseen. Tuolissa käytettävä luonnonkuitu on läpäissyt hyväksytysti palotestit FM VSS 302 sekä 95/28 EC annex 4 ja 5. Materiaaliin ei ole lisätty kemiallisia palonestoaineita. COMPOS malliston kalusteita ovat LOBBY CHAIR, CONFER-ENCE CHAIR ja CAFE CHAIR.
