Eco-heroes Compassion Relays Lets Connect Everyone With Compassion!

Keep feeling the need for being first. But I want you to be first in love. I want you to be first in moral excellence. I want you to be first in generosity. -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Participate in the Eco-heroes Compassion Relays in April, 2015! Rationale

We feel both excited and encouraged to move forward this year too, working together to make a collective impact for a better world. Compassionate individuals, communities are needed, people who care about our world and who are ready to take action to create a better future for all life and who act in a manner which aims to reconcile the world.

How It WorksTo participate in a Compassion Relay means you are willing to receive, carry and pass on the Compassion Torch. The Torch is a symbol of the Relays. The Compassion Torch is simply your commitment to compassion. Your decision to join the Relays symbolically represents your receiving the Torch (the commitment).

To carry the Compassion Torch means that for one week, on each day, you write down or capture through any medium (art, music, photo, video, etc.) one thought or action that shows compassion in your own daily life.

You should explore three dimensions of compassionate action 1) caring for others; 2) caring for yourself and 3) caring for the Earth. It can be something you do, something you discover, or something you observe someone else do.

As a key part of the Relays, you commit to pass on the Torch to the other Eco-heroes group (e.g. Portuguese group passes the Torch after one week to the Hungarian group) to keep the flame alive. Please submit a brief report on a daily basis to our Eco-heroes project website (in the Compassion forum) and at the end of the week please send your brief report to the global Compassion Map (https://compassiongames.crowdmap.com/reports/submit) describing your acts of compassion and your weeks experience
