COMPANY PROF I L E
P RO F E S S I O NA L CON S U L T ANC Y S E R V I C E S has successfully tried various
innovative approaches in the fields of Corporate Integration and Holistic Human
Resources Management. The interventions have blended both theory and practice to
offer need-based solutions to the client system. Most new concepts have been imparted
using more of experiential than didactic methods. The team handles each assignment
with professional care and expertise, sparing no efforts to offer the highest quality of
service. The vision before the members of the organisation has inspired a clear
perspective, leading to its mission: A constant quest for progression and perfection in the
art and science of management. With this as the background, the objects of the
organisation are: -
1. To bridge the gap between theory and practice in management
2. To constantly innovate, in order to help organisations continuously improve the
style and systems of management.
3. To help each person develop himself or herself into a centre of uniqueness
thereby benefiting not only oneself, but also the environment around.
COMPANY ACT IV I T I E S
1. Corporate integration and Holistic Human Resources Management
Here we help client organizations define their Mission [derived from the initial
vision]. Organisational Goals, Departmental Objectives, Individual Key Result Areas. This is
logically linked to a system for the review of performance as also the assessment of
potential. The system segregates the aspect of ‘efforts’ from that of ‘results’, to provide a
clear focus on each aspect. It seeks to identify the prerequisite attributes required by
each person assessed, to carry out his role and responsibilities; In its turn, this system
dovetails in to a process of recruitment and selection, using a problem-solving approach.
2. Organisation Structure / Executive Remuneration Planning and Fitment
Organizations are helped to draw up ‘link-pin charts’ which are meaningful to the
business of the organisation and which clearly outline the positional role and
responsibilities of each incumbent; subsequently a policy is formulated for structuring
salaries, promotions and annual revisions, keeping in mind the needs of the organisation
as well as the individual. Aspects of taxation, employment market factors and internal
parity factors are kept in mind when creating the system.
3. Personnel Systems and Procedures
Based on the mission and philosophy of the organisation, policies and procedures
are drawn up for adherence and implementation in the area of personnel
management.
4. Training and Development
Custom-made training programmes are conducted to suit the specific
requirements of various participant groups. The subjects include recruitment and
selection, performance appraisal, communication and teamwork. Besides, illustrative
presentations are made on request in various specialist areas of Human Resource
Management and Organisation Development. These programmes are conducted for
different levels of participants using both theoretical and experiential learning methods,
supported by adequate training aids.
5. Recruitment and Selection
Placement of persons at different levels is carried out on request. Besides,
selection alone is carried out both at campuses and for other client requirements at
various levels using appropriate selection methods such as tests, group discussions,
presentations and interviews. This area of work assumes a position of great importance,
as it is a key function to ensure that the right talent is selected keeping in mind special
requirements of each client.
6. Employee Involvement Programmes
Employee involvement programmes have been co-ordinated and
facilitated by us for various organizations. Employees are formed into voluntary groups,
which are cross-functional and heterogeneous. Themes, which need attention, are
identified in various areas and a “Theme - Team” matrix is evolved. The teams look for
problems to solve, areas that can be improved, or new/innovative ideas that can help
the organisation.
7. H. R. Software
The team has developed systems particularly in the area of performance
appraisal and salary structuring, which can be considered as generic products that can
be customised to the requirements of each client.
