Our Methodology

In GIN, we will work with you to modify courses or develop one to meet the specific

requirements of your business. To assure your investment on training is not wasted and to

maximize the value of the in-house program, we apply the ADDIE model – a dynamic,

flexible guideline for building effective training and performance support tools.

1. Analyze

Before we start any development measures, several questions will be posted to

determine the components necessary for the next phases of development. Question

such as:

Who is the audience?

What do they need to learn?

What are the delivery options?

What constraints exist?

What will the students do to determine competency?

What is the timeline for project completion?

What are the classroom/Web learning differences?

What are the online pedagogical considerations?

2. Design

Once the gap is determined, we will identify the learning objectives in consultation

with the organization. A systematic approach shall be employ during the design

phases:

Identify the training objectives.

List topics for each objective.

Choose the suitable methodology.

Draw up the training itinerary.

Consult, modify and arrive at agreement.

3. Develop

The development phase in the addresses the tools and processes used to create

instructional material. This stage includes:

Workbook or training manual,

Power Point presentation,

Case study & activities,

Relevant real life examples, etc.

4. Implement

In the implementation phase, the trainer will conduct the actual training based on

the program developed. A systematic plan will be drawn up to determine the

timeline and procedures for training the facilitators and the participants.

5. Evaluation

In the evaluation phase, we will evaluate the training program based on own

observation, post-course assessment, participants feedback, etc.

In order to strengthen the learning from the training program and to help dealing

with issues that appear during the implementation of new behaviors, we highly

recommend to plan for post-course activities such as:

Group coaching sessions (60-120min each) with all participants.

Individual coaching sessions, if possible, shadow coaching sessions (the

coach joins the trainee in his real work situation).

Post-course examination for the participants.

Reviews with management to discuss further development requirements identified

during the coaching sessions.
