port areas, which are supervised and handled by expert staff.A total of 12,000 m2 (7,000 covered and 5,000 uncovered) are ready to host all types

of goods rationally and efficiently (national, EU, non-EU, in fiscal VAT warehousing), about to be loaded or recently unloaded in the port of Ancona.

THE “FALCONA”

new business unit is managing the “Falcona” barge used to transport fuel

for use by ships from the Falconara refinery to Ancona port.Bunkering via a barge, called the “Falcona”, started at Ancona Port in November 2017.

A small petrol tanker, 85 metres in length and weighing 3,000 tonnes, transports fuel from the Falconara Refinery to Ancona Port for supply of the ships docked there. The

Frittelli Maritime Group has added this to the other activities it already performs with the ambition of offering Ancona Port a new service to optimise bunkering operations for

the ships moored at the port.
