RequirementsStudents are required to complete 40 hours of community service during their four years in high school.

100 hours of services results in membership in the Century Club.

• Boys and Girls Clubs

• YMCA and YWCA

• Organized Youth Sports Organizations (volunteer coaches & umpires)

What won’t count….• Court probation community service• Services provided for family

members or private individuals (ex. Babysitting)

• Hours performed during the school day when student should be in class.

• Hours with a for-profit business

• Students may not receive academic credit or monetary compensation for community service activities.

• Religious activities must be activities which extend beyond the church/synagogue.

• Privately arranged tutoring hours must be overseen by a school or organization sponsor and are subject to approval.
