Permanent, Part time We are looking for a fun, positive and enthusiastic person to join our library team. This position is based in Culverden at the Amuri Area School. You’ll be responsible for delivering library services to the school and the community as well as providing some council customer services. The ability to relate well to children is a must and storytelling skills are essential. As libraries and technology changes this is an exciting time to be part of the school and library community. We are sad to be informing you that Dr Mike Silvers will be leaving our wee community. Mike has been with us for eight months now, and has been a great addition to our team. We are sad to see him go and wish him and Nika all the very best for their new adventures.  Dr Graeme Scrivener will continue to work Mondays through Wednesdays, and will be on deck in the absence of a locum.  Dr Tim Fletcher will be joining us from 15th August for 3 weeks.  Dr Richard McCubbin will be returning for 3 weeks from 27th August. Please contact the Health Centre on 315 6328 for an appointment.

We had a very exciting weekend of Rugby on the weekend with Hurunui being represented in four final matches.   And the Great News is we WON ALL FOUR.   So congratulations to the U11.5, U16, U18 and Division 2.
